Resolution rule
This market resolves to the word that PONS Langenscheidt officially selects as the “2026 Youth Word of the Year” (announcement scheduled for 10/10/2026). The official announcement by Langenscheidt (langenscheidt.com / jugendwort.de or a press release) will be authoritative; alternatively, matching reports from dpa and tagesschau will be used. Written and spoken variants count as the respective word (e.g., “67” / “Six Seven”). If the announcement is postponed, resolution will be postponed accordingly. If a word not listed as an option is selected, “Other word” resolves as the outcome. If Langenscheidt does not select a Youth Word in 2026, the market will be canceled and all Bettons refunded.
